You Are Complex: Meet Our In-House Health Coach & Product Educator Jodi Schneider

Her role at Vibrant Health is multifaceted — and she’s a wealth of knowledge when it comes to nutrition and recommending the best products for customers.  

In this inspiring interview, Jodi shares what a typical day on the job looks like, the superfood product she can’t live without, and a sneak peek into her morning and evening wellness routine. We hope you enjoy our series…and remember, keep being you! 

How would you describe yourself in three words?  

Curious, Passionate, Resilient 

 

What does a typical day in the life as an Educator for Vibrant Health look like?  

My day at Vibrant Health consists of making educational videos, speaking to customers about the best products for them, writing content, doing training webinars and helping out in customer service. I also stay on top of current scientific research and speak to other health professionals.  

 
What do you love most about your job?  

I love talking to our customers and assisting them on their wellness journey!  

 

How did you first step into the world of wellness, eventually becoming a health coach?  

I have always been aware of the need to take care of my body after watching my parents die from disease at a young age. I would study nutrition for fun — and watching documentaries about the microbiome on a Friday night was more exciting to me than going out! Eventually, I started my journey to become certified in nutrition and health coaching.  

 

Can you share a sneak peek into the behind-the-scenes of your daily wellness routine?  

I start every day with a glass of warm water with a squeeze of lemon and sit in meditative silence. I follow that with a 20-minute HIIT or weights workout and take a walk in the woods with the dogs. I then come home for a cup of coffee and breakfast after having fasted for 14 hours and take my supplements.  

After work, I take another walk with the dogs and do a short yoga or stretch routine.  

 

What are your non-negotiables when it comes to wellness and self-care?  

My three non-negotiables: getting outside every day for a walk, meditation, and getting to bed early.

What are your go-to healthy snacks or meals to fuel your workday?  

I’m not a big believer in snacks. But if I do snack, I like to have an apple with almond butter, cucumber, and hummus or some nuts.  

 

What does 'healthy' mean to you?  

Healthy to me is of course the food we put into our body and getting physical movement. It’s also addressing our emotional pain or trauma that may be causing health issues, having loving relationships, getting enough sleep, and noticing what lights us up (and doing more of that)!
