Q&A
I have noticed a change in color from a soft purple color and small capsule to a medium capsule and white colored powder. Has the formula changed? I want to make sure the product I purchased via Amazon is legitimate and has the same potency as my prior purchases.
We did update the Gigartina formula. We were able to source a much more potent strain of the red marine algae, taking the serving size down from 4 capsules to 2 and the bottle containing 60 capsules instead of 120. The color is due to the fact that we no longer need to use things like the stem of the plant (since it's so much more potent) making it more of a pure white color. I will, however, advise that our only authorized partner on Amazon is NetRush, so make sure the seller is NetRush when purchasing our products throuhg Amazon.
How many mcg of iodine are in each serving (2 capsules)?
Hello, That amount of Iodine is very low, .005mg per serving.
I have used your RMA for years and have always ordered 120-count bottles. Lately, when I place an order for 120-count (from other providers) they are sending 60-count bottles instead of the 120-count as advertised. Is this a stocking issue or a problem with their product description? Are you no longer producing 120-count?
We did recently update our formula and many third-party sellers have yet to update their images/sales pages. We no longer offer the 120-count bottle. We sourced a much more potent strain of the red marine algae allowing us to make the serving size 2 capsules rather than 4, so you're still getting a 30-day supply, just with 60 capsules rather than 120.
Has your product changed? I buy it regularly, and it has always been red in colour and tasteless. My most recent purchase is grey and has a strong taste. I much preferred the red version, seemed more effective.
As our ingredients are natural plant based ingredients, there can be some variation in color, texture, taste and consistency. This can be dependent on the harvest season or if we needed to source material from an alternate vendor/location. Vibrant Health follows the same triple redundancy testing for each ingredient to ensure the potency, ingredient purity, and safety (lack of microbials etc) remains for each ingredient going into any Vibrant Health product.
