Cannabidiol, or CBD for short, is popping up everywhere we look lately, and it’s easy to become overwhelmed with information. We have outlined some frequently asked questions here for you to keep you informed. The following FAQ has been taken from Plus CBD Oil, America’s most trusted name in CBD, and the only CBD oil we use in our Green Vibrance plus CBD formula.

What is CBD?

Cannabidiol (CBD), is a phytocannabinoid found in cannabis and/or agricultural hemp. It has been recognized for its potential benefits on human health and is capable of affecting nearly every biological process via the endocannabinoid system (ECS).

What is the endocannabinoid system (ECS)?

Discovered in 1992, the endocannabinoid system (ECS) refers to endocannabinoids, the enzymes that regulate their production and degradation, and their receptors. Endocannabinoids are “messengers”, isolated from brain and peripheral tissues that communicate via cannabinoid receptors.

1. EndogenousCannabinoids(eCB):Anandamideand2AG 2. MainReceptors:CB1andCB2

Can CBD get me high?

No, it cannot. CBD is non-psychotoxic (it does not result in feelings of euphoria).

I heard CBD from agricultural hemp isn’t as potent. Is this true?

No. The human body does not recognize whether a CBD compound was sourced from agricultural hemp or medical cannabis – the body’s biological activity, interaction with various enzymes, and receptors specific to CBD remain the same.

What are the benefits of taking CBD Oil?

Due to DSHEA guidelines, we cannot specifically state conditions CBD may affect. We encourage you to do your own research, consult with doctors, and use PubMed.gov as a resource as newly published research is coming out in real time. Anecdotal evidence and case reports are pushing the research needle forward, but more research is needed to provide structure/function claims associated with taking CBD oil. We encourage you to talk to your doctor first before starting any new nutritional and dietary supplement regimen.

I have a gluten allergy, can I take your product?

Yes, this product is gluten free.

How much CBD is in this product?

Green Vibrance+ Plus CBD Oil contains 3.5 mg of cannabidiol per serving.

Does Plus CBD Oil test for potency, pesticides, herbicides, heavy metals, and residual solvents?

Yes. Just like Vibrant Health, Plus CBD Oil has very high standards regarding the quality, purity and potency of the CBD they produce. Their state-of-the-art laboratory uses High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) to measure CBD levels, to the milligram, in every batch. The potency is then validated through their third-party lab, SC Laboratories, who independently analyze the CBD, using HPLC testing. They also ensure that all Plus CBD OilTM products are free of pesticides, fungicides, plant growth regulators, residual solvents and any microbiological contamination. Further, a separate lab uses advanced testing methods, including a form of Mass Spectrometry, to confirm that there is no heavy metal contamination in either the raw materials or the finished product.

Does this product need to be refrigerated?

As with original Green Vibrance, we recommend that this product be stored in the freezer (best) after opening, or in the refrigerator (good) to preserve the integrity of the probiotics.

Will I fail a drug test if I take this product?

We highly recommend that individuals who are required not to fail a drug test, should avoid all hemp-derived products, hemp protein products, hemp seed products, poppy seed products, and cold medicines to avoid any issues with the testing. This would include Green Vibrance+ Plus CBD Oil, as well. While hemp-derived CBD products will not cause any feelings of intoxication (get you “high”) as they are below 0.3% THC, these products are not completely THC-free.

Is Plus CBD Oil a full-spectrum CBD?

Yes, Plus CBD Oil is a full-spectrum CBD and contains all the other naturally occurring phytocannabinoids in agricultural hemp. It is not an isolated extract.
